Now you may be surprised to see Fireworks listed under Potential Dangers.  If your dog is of a nervous disposition, unless you’re planning to live in an isolated area, then Spain may not be the right choice.  How does your dog react to Bonfire Night in the UK and in deed the weeks leading up to the 5th November?

Fiestas are a regular feature of Spanish life particularly from Easter right through to the end of September and you can’t have a fiesta without fireworks.  Every village and every town have their own week of fiestas so you can be sure this will include fireworks and very loud ones too!  Birthdays are often celebrated with the addition of a few bangs!  If Spain win a major sporting event, again, you can be sure they will celebrate in style!  So do bear this in mind and consider your dog because not only is he or she going to be scared witless they will also become very miserable.
