Dogs at Large

CÓRDOBA, SPAIN

How can anyone live with themselves for letting a dog reach this level of emaciation?

Oliver is about 2 years old and an angel dog.  Little is known about him other than he has probably lived all his life on a chain as  seen on one of the photos. It is thought that extreme starvation probably drove him to break free.

He is currently being cared for by a wonderful shelter in Córdoba but like most shelters are full to the brim and cannot cope with the avalanche of needy and desperate animals.  And Christmas is just around the corner to compound the problem further!

If anyone is interested in helping Oliver please e-mail me with your enquiry and I will ensure that all the updated information is sent to you.

Or maybe you would like to sponsor him to help with his food and veterinary fees? This Shelter does not have a Web Site but these are their Bank details.

UPDATE ~  JULY '10 : 8 months on and Oliver is now a completely different boy, thanks to his Rescuers and the Shelter where he still lives. He loves to play and run, is sociable and affectionate and everybody loves him dearly. What a shame that nobody has stepped forward to give Oli the forever home he truly deserves.
